About Willow and Womb Wellness
At Willow and Womb Wellness, we hold space for women, birthing people, and LGBTQ+ families navigating life’s most transformative seasons—fertility journeys, pregnancy loss, postpartum shifts, identity changes, and the rediscovery of self beyond caregiving.
Founded by Dana Rivera, LCSW, our practice offers therapy (for Florida residents), reproductive wellness & life transitions coaching (nationwide), and support circles designed to connect you with others who understand your experiences. Whether you’re grieving, adjusting to motherhood, facing fertility challenges, or seeking clarity in a new chapter, we’re here to walk beside you—with compassion, presence, and care.
Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed support, clinical expertise, and lived experience. We believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and reclaim your sense of agency—even in the midst of uncertainty.
This is a space where you are seen, held, and supported to move forward with intention and trust in yourself.
Therapy, Coaching, or Support Circles?
Therapy offers a space to heal from emotional pain, process past experiences, and reconnect with yourself. Coaching is future-focused—designed to help you clarify your goals, make aligned choices, and step into what’s next. Support Circles provide a safe, guided space to share your story and connect with others on similar journeys.
If you’re uncertain, we’d love to connect. Free consultations are available to help you explore your options and find the support that best fits your needs.
You are worthy of care—exactly as you are, right now.
Let’s begin, together.
My Story
Hi, I’m Dana Rivera
For more than a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of healing and justice—providing clinical care and leading a court-based program supporting individuals impacted by human trafficking, sex work, and untreated mental health challenges. With a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University, my work has always centered on reducing harm, fostering dignity, and creating pathways to wholeness for those too often overlooked.
Life, however, has a way of shifting our paths. My own journey took a profound turn when my wife and I set out on the road to parenthood—a road paved with hope, loss, deep joy, and moments of profound grief. After five years of working closely with a reproductive endocrinologist and navigating the emotional and physical complexities of fertility, pregnancy loss, and a challenging birth, I now proudly stand as a mother to an earthside human.
This journey was deeply personal and, for a long time, private. Fear, grief, and the pressure to appear “okay” kept me silent, even as I longed for a child. I often felt isolated in a world that seemed to effortlessly grow families while I quietly struggled. It wasn’t until I sought the support of my own therapist that I began to feel a shift—a realization that my professional calling was expanding. What began as a passion for justice-involved populations began to encompass a broader vision: one that holds space for reproductive trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, identity shifts in motherhood, and the nuanced journeys of same-sex couples pursuing parenthood.
As my practice evolved, so did my understanding of the many life transitions that shape us as women. From the tender ache of fertility challenges to the layered realities of parenting, from grief and identity shifts to the quiet and powerful transformation that comes with an empty nest—I became increasingly attuned to the ways we stretch, break open, and rebuild ourselves. These transitions, though often unspoken, are rich with possibility. I am especially passionate about supporting women as they navigate these sacred thresholds: rediscovering purpose, healing in community, and flourishing through change. I believe that with the right support, we all have the capacity to reclaim joy, integrate loss, and grow into our most authentic selves.
That’s how Willow and Womb Wellness was born—a space rooted in compassion, connection, and transformation.
This is a space where you are not alone on your journey. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Reproductive Wellness & Life Transitions Coach, I support women, birthing people, and LGBTQ+ families navigating the emotional landscapes of conception, loss, postpartum, parenting, identity shifts, and all the thresholds that define our becoming. Whether you are preparing to grow your family, healing after loss, exploring life beyond parenting, or seeking grounding in a new season—your journey is valid and your story matters.
Thank you for being here, and for allowing me to walk alongside you. Let’s navigate this journey together—with intention, grace, and the power of shared story. Together, we’ll honor where you’ve been, explore who you’re becoming, and walk forward—with care—into what’s next.
Warmly,
Dana
